Class Of 2019 Rankings Updated

It’s been a busy four-plus months since the last update to the Class of 2019 rankings. As we have worked our way through the summer and fall, both on the state and national levels, more light has been shed on this talented and deep class. There has been plenty of shakeup throughout the list, which has now been expanded to 45 players. Here are some highlights in the update...
+ A Louisiana State recruit and Team USA standout, SS Cade Doughty (Denham Springs) retains the No. 1 spot after a wildly successful summer and fall. Fellow LSU recruit, C Hayden Travinski (Loyola College Prep), slides to the No. 2 slot, as the young backstop has shown big power potential thus far.
+ After an impressive showing at the Preseason All-State Games in October, RHP Cullen Pharris (DeQuincy) climbs to No. 3. Pharris has shown legitimate front-end of the rotation type stuff, and his recruitment is red-hot currently.
+ A Future Games standout, RHP Seth Traweek (Ouachita Christian) lands at No. 4. One of several big, strong right-handed pitchers in Louisiana’s 2019 class, Traweek has been a consistent performer, and shows promising potential.
+ Highly athletic SS Carson Jones (West Monroe) climbs to No. 5, followed by recent LSU commit, RHP Jacob Scherer (St. Pauls).
+ There are several newcomers to the rankings including SS Amani Larry (Parkway), RHP Jase McDonald (Denham Springs), IF Will Spears (St. Augustine), IF Will Bloecher (Mandeville), SS Peyton Parker (West Ouachita), SS Kyle McLaughlin (St. Pauls), LHP Tim Ruffino (Hannan), SS Joey Saucier (Hahnville), OF Mason Zeringue (Ascension Catholic), and SS Lane Hutchinson (Dutchtown).
