Team Summary
The Raiders have 8 returning starters from their 2020 roster and it's of no surprise why their team strengths should be defense and offense. Kyle Walker provides the team with a middle of the order bat, coming off of a 2020 season that saw him hit .391 with a HR, 2 2B, 3B, 9 RBI, and 6 SB in just 12 games. Senior MIF Jacob Cabeceiras will provide stability in the middle of the infield, as he played shortstop for the Raiders during the 2020 season. Cabeceiras is a fundamentally sound infielder with baseball running in his blood, as his father Joey, pitched for the University of New Orleans in the mid 1990's. Archbishop Rummel will rely on key seniors mixed in with underclassmen in a tough Catholic League out of the New Orleans, LA area that also includes Louisiana baseball staples in Jesuit, Brother Martin, John Curtis, and Holy Cross.
