Drew Glass, RHP, Pleasure Ridge Park HS, 2015

At 6-foot-5, 225-pounds, Glass is somewhat of an imposing figure standing on the mound, and he pitched well at both the Top Prospect Games in June and the Unsigned Senior Games last month.

Glass has some funk to his delivery which he uses to his advantage.  He uses long and wrapping backside arm action and works through a ¾ arm slot which creates significant sink on his fastball.  Recently, at the Unsigned Senior Games, Glass’ fastball sat 82-84 mph and touched 85 on one occasion.  He showed good command of his 67-69 mph curveball, and showed better arm speed on a 72 mph changeup than he did at the Top Prospect Games in June.

In three innings of work at summer events Glass has struck out four, shown the ability to consistently throw strikes, and generates a number of ground balls with his sinking fastball.
