Logan Mallory, RHP/1B, North Laurel HS, 2015
6-foot-3, 198-pound prospect showed a big increase in velocity.  In the past, Mallory has topped at 85 mph, but on this occasion his first pitch popped the glove at 89 and he showed a quicker arm than in the past, uses long arm action through a high ¾ slot, fastball sat 85-88 with some arm-side life, showed good command of 73-74 mph curveball with short 11/5 action, has added weight to his athletic frame with more room, increase in velocity makes him one of the top pitching prospects in Kentucky’s 2015 class.

Cameron Revelette, RHP, St. Xavier HS, 2015
6-foot-2, 205-pound prospect with strong frame, uses medium arm action through a ¾ to high ¾ arm slot, good rhythm in delivery with easy effort, repeats delivery well, shows very good command of all pitches, fastball sat 82-84 mph with some arm-side life through the zone, throws a 66-70 mph curveball with 11/5 action and a late-breaking 78 mph slider, changeup is straight at 77 mph thrown with good arm action, good pitchability, struck out four of the 10 hitters he faced , solid 2015 prospect and one to watch for potential velocity gains.

Andrew Hayden, LHP/1B, Daviess County HS, 2016
6-foot-3, 165-pound prospect with lanky and projectable frame, arm action is long and loose through a high ¾ arm slot, repeatable delivery, fastball sat 82-84 touching 85, four-seam fastball shows occasional cutting action, two-seam fastball shows some arm-side run, shows good command of 65 mph curveball with 1/7 action and good depth, arm and frame project very well and would expect additional velocity for Hayden, definite 2016 prospect to keep an eye on, currently one of the top left-handed pitching prospects in Kentucky’s 2016 class.

Michael Hicks, RHP, South Warren HS, 2016
6-foot-5, 185-pound prospect with lanky build and very good projectability, delivery is easy and repeatable, uses long arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, arm shows quickness, shows good command of a three-pitch mix, fastball sat 82-84 touching 85 with some arm-side run, curveball initially was up in the zone but found release point after a few batters, curveball showed some depth with 12/6 action at 67-68 mph, changeup showed good sink and fade at 75 mph, throws strikes consistently, struck out 3 of the 10 hitters he faced in game action.

Josh Finerty, C/RHP, St. Xavier HS, 2015
6-foot-2, 190-poud prospect with strong and athletic frame, shows good balance and tempo in delivery, uses long arm action through a high ¾ slot, arm works well with some looseness, fastball shows slight arm side run with occasional sink at 79-81 mph touching 82, curveball shows mostly 12/6 action with tight rotation and some depth at 67-71 mph, showed good command of the strike zone with both pitches, struck out 2 of the 5 hitters he faced.

Brian O’Neil, RHP, St. Xavier HS, 2016
6-foot-4, 180-pound prospect with good pitcher’s frame, long and lanky build with room to fill, uses long arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, arm is loose and works well, fastball sat 77-79 mph, curveball showed sharp 12/6 action with good depth at 66-68 mph, shows good command of both pitches with the ability to throw his curveball for strikes in any count, would expect velocity gains for O’Neil in the near future, definite prospect to keep an eye on from the 2016 class.

Andrew Yates, LHP, Mercer County HS, 2015
6-foot-1, 160-pound prospect with lanky build, frame projects, uses long arm action through an over the top arm slot, fastball mostly straight with occasional cutting action at 77-80 mph touching 81, curveball shows good depth and sharp 12/6 action at 67-69 mph, arm drags at times on curveball leaving it up in the zone but it is a very good pitch when he throws it with the right release point, shows a plus move to first base and controls the running game well.

Spencer Cross, 3B/RHP, Calhoun HS (GA), 2015
6-foot-1, 230-pound prospect with strong lower half, uses long arm action through a high ¾ to over the top arm slot, delivery requires some effort, some stiffness in arm action, fastball is straight at 80-82 mph touching 83, showed good command of 65-66 mph curveball with 11/5 action, pounded the strike zone with both pitches, struck out 2 of the 5 hitters he faced.

Ean Barker, 3B/RHP, Central Hardin HS, 2016
5-foot-10, 195-pound prospect with strong lower half, would like to see more consistent use of lower half in delivery, tended to open front side early at times leading to inconsistent release point on this occasion, fastball is straight at 77-78 mph touching 80, curveball wasn’t as sharp as previous event at 63-64 mph, showed a 60 mph knuckle ball that dove at the bottom of the strike zone late.
