The latest recruiting news around Kentucky:
Tyler Robertson, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound RHP/SS from Russell County HS has committed to John A Logan College, a junior college in Illinois. Robertson recently vaulted up the 2013 rankings to No. 9 after an electric bullpen session in which his fastball sat 88-91 mph. The athletic two-way prospect has some pop in his bat as well, hitting 7 HR's last spring and is closing in on the career RBI record at Russell County.
Brandon Kendall, a 6-foot, 180-pound RHP from Harrison County HS has committed to Wabash Valley College. Kendall recently showed a mid-80's fastball, touching 87 mph and very good secondary pitches. Kendall is ranked No. 33 in the class of 2013.
Jake Wilson, a 6-foot-3, 215-pound 1B/LHP from Meade County HS, has committed to Eastern Kentucky University. The left-handed hitting 1B shows good power at the plate, hitting 6 HR's last spring. Wilson also shows a mid 80's fastball on the mound and is ranked No. 40 in the class of 2013.
Tyler Marshall, a 6-foot-1, 175-pound 3B from Trinity HS has committed to Northern Kentucky University. The left-handed hitting Marshall shows good arm strength across the field and is ranked No. 45 in the class of 2013.
Aaron Pearcy, an OF from DuPont Manual HS, has committed to Lindsey Wilson College.
