After the Preseason All-State Showcase, we noted that Thomas Bennett looked physically stronger and was primed for a big year. That being said, we couldn’t have imagined the week Bennett had last week.

The Western Hills junior SS, the top uncommitted SS in the 2017 class, put that added physical strength on full display last week with numbers that rival something out of a video game. In five games, Bennett hit .714 with two doubles, one triple, four home runs, and five RBI. For good measure, he stole two bases while also anchoring the Wolverines defense up the middle.

For his performance on the field, Western Hills 2017 SS Thomas Bennett has been selected as the PBR Kentucky Player of the Week for March 21-26.
