6-foot, 160 pound lean/athletic frame. One of the top arms at the Underclass Games event. 2023 RHP uses loose/whippy arm action through a high-3/4 slot to produce an 81-83 mph fastball he works to both sides of the plate. Shows feel for spin with a 68-70 mph curveball with late break. Routinely lands the curveball for strikes. Flashed an above average changeup at 71 mph thrown with good arm action that plays well off the fastball. Saatman has gained significant velocity over the last year, and should continue to add moving forward. Has excellent pitchability already and will be a 2023 arm to watch very closely.
