5-foot-11, 157-pound frame. athletic with projection . At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 81 mph. Starts in a balanced athletic stance, has a wrapping load and uses a short stride to start his swing. Displayed an uphill swing plane, quick bat speed and extension on his finish. Base hit approach with occasional gap power. In the outfield, he used momentum and arm strength to record throws up to 90 mph; has sure hands and athletic footwork. Used athletic movements laterally. He established speed as one of his strengths with an event-best 60 time of 6.82.
On the mound, showing quick arm speed, had a high ¾ slot with a shorter arm action. Sat with his fastball at 81-82 mph T84. Had in the zone control and good action on his 11/5 curveball (68-70). His changeup(75-77) shows some fading action. Has potential to be a high-level 2022 prospect, certainly an intriguing two-way guy who likely projects as a CF.
