Midwest Future Games Spotlight: Corner Infielders (Neal, Sims, Mahon, Neeley)

Daniel Neal is a 6-foot-3, 185-pound third-baseman from South Laurel HS. The talented right-handed hitter has big power at the plate as he has launched a total of 17 home runs while hitting in the middle of the South Laurel lineup the last two seasons. In addition to his bat, Neal also possesses a big arm across the infield and runs well.
Neal will also take the mound for Team Kentucky as well.
Davis Sims is a 6-foot-3, 190-pound third-baseman from St. Mary HS. The right-handed hitter has shown well at multiple PBR events this summer, including the Top Prospect Games in June where he put on a defensive show at the hot corner. He also stroked two hits during game play at the event as well. Sims has good lateral movement and soild arm strength across the diamond from his third-base position.
Sims will see all of his time in the infield at third base.
Maxx Mahon is a 6-foot-1, 230-pound first baseman from West Jessamine HS. The physical first-baseman showed big bat speed at the Top Prospect Games event, registering a 92 mph tee exit velocity and made hard contact all day in the game play portion of the event. He displays soft hands and his feet work around the first base bag.
Mahon will also make an appearance on the mound for Team Kentucky as well.
Tyler Neeley is a physical, 6-foot-2, 220-pound first-baseman from Trinity HS. The right-handed hitter has shown well at multiple PBR events. He possesses good bat speed (88 mph exit velocity)and has power to all fields.
Neeley runs well for his size, and in addition to his time at first base, may also see some action in left field for Team Kentucky as well.
