To say Brandon Lawlor was instrumental in leading Scott County to three wins last week would be an understatement. The senior outfielder put on an offensive show as the Cardinals improved to 14-5 on the season.
Lawlor began his week on Tuesday with a 2-for-3, two home run performance against Sayre in leading Scott County to a 12-8 win. He launched a three-run homer and a grand slam in the game to finish with a whopping seven RBI.
On Thusday, Lawlor was at it again, going 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI in an 18-0 rout of Montgomery County.
He followed that up on Friday in going 3-for-3 with two doubles, a home run, and three RBI in leading the Cardinals to a 7-3 win over CAL.
For the week, Lawlor went 8-for-14 with three doubles, three home runs, and 13 RBI. For his performance on the field, Brandon Lawlor has been selected as the PBR Kentucky Player of the Week for April 20-26.
