KY Player of The Week April 15-20
April 25, 2019
Building off a Preseason All-State Showcase where he flashed big power to all fields and posted a 97 mph exit velocity off the tee, junior first baseman Jackson Feltner has shown that preseason performance was certainly no fluke.
Feltner, a 6-foot-3, 220-pound right-handed hitter, had one of the most impressive weeks of the season last week. In 4 games, Feltner hit .615 (8-for-13) with a double, 5 home runs, 10 RBIs, and scored 7 runs. He also picked up a win on the mound with 7 strikeouts over 6 innings of work.
For the season, Feltner has belted 10 home runs, a number that to our knowledge ties him for the state lead.
For his performance on the field, Lawrence County 2020 1B Jackson Feltner has been selected the PBR Kentucky Player of the Week for April 15-20.
