Jason Suchanek, a 5-foot-9, 165-pound SS from Beechwood HS, has verbally committed to Xavier University.

Suchanek showed well at multiple PBR events, most recently at the Top Prospect Games Event where he ran a 6.88, showed an 84 mph arm across the infield, and an 87 mph arm from the outfield.  

Suchanek, ranked No.16 in Kentucky's 2014 class, will continue his academic and baseball career close to home with Xavier being located right across the Ohio River, a few miles from Beechwood HS.
