2020 Florida ProCase: Pitcher Analysis

The 2020 PBR Florida ProCase was a loaded event that featured the top 2021 and 2022 prospects from around the state of Florida. The event took place past Friday, May 29th at Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona, FL. The players went through a pro-style workout which was followed up by BP on the field and a simulated game.

This week we will be breaking down all the players in attendance by position. Today, we start with the pitchers. We will breakdown each pitcher in attendance with scouting reports and video.

Pitcher Analysis

Dominic Castellano LHP / LHP / Jesuit, FL / 2021

Positional Profile: LHP, UCF
Body: 6-foot, 170-pounds. Has a strong, high waisted, athletic frame.

Delivery: Tall and fall delivery with late collapse, lands square and in line. Deceptive delivery.
Arm Action: LH. High 3/4 arm slot, long, fluid.
FB: T88, 83-87 mph. Arm side run, throws for strikes.
CB: 69-75 mph. 2/8 shape, competitive, consistent command.
CH: 74-75 mph. Splitter action, low in the zone.

Tyler Dietz RHP / OF / Calvary Christian, FL / 2021
