Shortly after the event, our staff compiled several of the day’s stat leaders inside our traditional ‘Stat Story’, which you can find HERE

Today, after combing through our notes from the day, we’ve compiled some of the event’s standouts below within these ‘Quick Hits’.

PITCHERS

+ RHP Luke Ethridge (Maize, 2025) came away from Tuesday’s event as an uncommitted soon-to-be senior to keep an eye on this summer. The strong bodied, 6-foot-3, 210-pound righty moved with intent down the mound, producing easy velocity with a quick arm action. Ethridge ran his fastball up to 83.7 mph with plenty more to come as he adds strength. Off of that, he spun a curveball at 70-71 mph and a changeup at 75-76 mph.

+ LHP Kane Ast (Douglass, 2027) emerged as a name to follow in Kansas’ 2027 class. At 5-foot-10, 174-pounds, Ast showed plenty of upside on the mound in a frame with plenty of room to add size and strength. The lefty featured a fastball that jumped out of his hand and played with natural carry (avg. 17” of vertical break) at 80-82 mph, topping out at 82.7 mph on the day. With that he paired a sharp 65-67 mph curveball with depth and developing feel for the zone.

+ Coming off a big spring on the mound for Sedgwick, RHP Corey Crumrine (2025) put together a standout performance in Tuesday’s event. The 5-foot-8, 155-pound senior ran his fastball up to 82.1 mph from a short, quick, ¾ arm slot. With that, he showed the aptitude to command the zone with two distinct 2,200+ RPM spin breaking balls - a curveball that played with depth at 68-69 mph and a horizontal moving slider at 70-71 mph.

HITTERS

+ One of the biggest winners from Tuesday was OF/LHP Manny Myers (Mulvane, 2026). Plenty projectable at 5-foot-11, 160-pounds, Myers flashed tools on both sides of the ball in this look. Offensively, the switch hitter swung a quick barrel from both sides of the plate, consistently barreling balls from gap-to-gap. He flashed pop at times, sending his best ball of the day 333 feet with a top exit velocity of 89.1 mph. Defensively, Myers showed arm strength and carry, firing a 85 mph bullet from the outfield, good for second best at the event. He also posted a top-3 60 time on the day with a 6.72 mark.

+ A top-25 prospect in the Kansas 2027 class, 1B/LHP Jacob Stehley (Wichita Collegiate) had a strong showing in Tuesday’s look. Listed at 6-foot, 176-pounds, Stehley showed noticeable bat speed and explosiveness in a left-handed swing that favored the pull-side, resulting in a top exit velocity of 93.3 mph, sending his best ball 343 feet. Additionally, the sophomore posted a 77 mph velocity across the infield and a 78 mph velocity from the outfield.

+ OF Isaac Holt (Andover, 2027) is an upside athlete to follow from Tuesday’s event. The 6-foot-2, 179-pound sophomore possessed a simple right-handed barrel that produced a max exit velocity of 91.6 mph with the aptitude to elevate the ball to all fields. Defensively, Holt posted a 80 mph mark from the outfield and showcased reliable, athletic fielding actions to pair.

+ 2023 Junior Future Games participant OF Hays Ensley (Mulvane, 2027) continued to show why he is a top-10 prospect in the state’s 2027 class. An athletic mover at 5-foot-10, 160-pounds, Ensley was among the event leaders in nearly every category. In BP he swung a quick right-handed barrel, consistently barreling balls through the middle of the field, reaching a top exit velocity of 91.2 mph while leading the event with a strong average of 86.7 mph per batted ball. From the outfield, the sophomore paced all of his peers with a 86 mph bullet on his firmest throw while also running a 6.88 60 for good measure.

+ Fellow Mulvane teammate, C/INF Reed Hackleman (2026) continued to flash tools on both sides of the ball in this look after an impressive sophomore campaign this spring for the Wildcats. The lefty swung a flat, inside-out barrel, flashing bat speed with a top mark of 76.6 mph. He consistently lined balls to the pullside, reaching a top exit velocity of 87.4 mph. A true utility player that can play almost anywhere on the field, Hackleman worked behind the plate in this look, showcasing a clean exchange to go along with 2.04-2.14 pop times.

+ OF Lane French (Hoisington, 2025) is an uncommitted senior to keep an eye on that continues to see considerable jumps in his metrics from this winter. French showed off his offensive skill-set from the right side of the plate, displaying a compact, rotational stroke and a top exit velocity of 89.9 mph. Defensively, he showed well on the outfield, with clean fielding actions and a 82 mph peak velocity to go along with a 6.91 60 time.

+ INF Atley Edenfield (De Soto, 2026) was on the barrel throughout his round of BP, consistently elevating the ball to the pullside, showing advanced bat speed with a 84.7 mph top mark. He barreled his best ball of the day 328 feet at a 88.6 mph exit velocity. Defensively, he showed clean actions on the infield with a 81 mph arm to pair.

+ A trio of teammates from Wichita Collegiate, OF Isaac Vanderburg (2026), INF/OF Mason Bond (2027), and C Maddox Drumright (2027), put together strong showings on both sides of the ball in this event. Vanderburg continues to be a name to keep an eye on in the 2026 class. At the plate, the junior posted a max exit velocity of 88.5 mph while also firing a 81 mph outfield velocity to go along with running a 6.68 60 - the second best mark of the event. He also ran his fastball up to 81 mph with 2,400+ RPM spin on the mound. Bond swung a quick, inside-out, right-handed barrel that sprayed line drive to all fields, reaching 87.2 mph on his best barrel. Defensively, he showed comfortability and athleticism on the move while also running a 6.92 60 to pair. Drumright, who made his Prep Baseball debut on Tuesday, showed plenty of room to add strength and size in a 5-foot-11, 156-pound frame. He showed off his quick (21.9 mph average hand speed), strong hands with a short rotational stroke that produced a top exit velocity of 87.1 mph. His strength came from behind the plate where he led all catchers in velocity (75 mph) and had the second best pop time of the day (1.97-2.18).

TWO-WAYS

+ INF/RHP Karston Wall (Sedgwick, 2025) is an uncommitted two-way name-to-know from Tuesday’s event. A top-50 player in the state of Kansas, Wall is athletic as they come in a 5-foot-11, 160-pound frame and continues to get better with every look. At the plate, the senior used smooth actions and a polished right-handed swing to drive balls back through the middle of the field, producing a max exit velocity of 92.1 mph while sending his best ball 324 feet. His arm played true across the diamond where he led all infielders with a 91 mph peak velocity. That arm strength carried over to the mound where he pitched from 86-87 mph with his fastball, pairing that with a 2,400+ RPM curveball at 69-70 mph and a tumbling changeup at 79-80 mph.

+ Another standout two-way performance came from OF/RHP Aidan Kent (Homeschool, 2025). With plenty of projection and no shortage of size at 6-foot-4, 180-pounds, Kent showed bat strength throughout his round of BP with a long-levered, inside-out swing, generating exit velocities upwards of 91.1 mph and also sending his best barrel an event leading 343 feet. Defensively, the senior posted a 83 mph outfield velocity. Kent then hopped on the mound and pitched at 81-83 mph, T83.8 mph, with the aptitude to land his slider/changeup mix for strikes at 69-71 mph and 68-70 mph respectively.
