KS Rankings Update: 2025

After an action packed spring season where ther Pre Baseball KS staff was able to take in over 40 games, it is time for another '25 class rankings update. This class features more depth in the pitching and catching positions than we have ever seen before in the state. Below, we take a close look at the top 5 risers and one newcomer to the list. Newcomers
Christian Ryan RHP Blue Valley West, KS / 2025The uncommitted junior jumped onto our radar early this spring and he only got better as the season went. The right-hander shows true command of a FB that sits in the mid 80s along with a above average changup and curveball. Ryan has tossed over 50 innings this year as the Jags ace and has posted an ERA of 1.00.

Risers
Treyton DesLauriers LHP / OF / Olathe West High School, KS / 2025One of the four headed monster that has lead Olathe West to the 1 seed in the 6A state tourament, DesLauriers makes a jump in our rankings as he moved from dominating small schools to having even more success against top talent this spring. The Central Missouri commit adds and subtracts from a fastball that can reach into the upper 80s. He also mixes a big curveball and devistating changup.

Blake Sebastian RHP / 1B / Blue Valley North, KS / 2025The recent Nebraska commit is still not a finished product, but showed flashes of excilence this spring that see his name jumping up our list. The athleteic 6-foot-6 right-hander ran his fastball up to 91 at times and showed a sharp slider.

Hayes Allen RHP / 1B / BISHOP CARROLL CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL, KS / 2025A little dinged up to start the spring, Allen shots up the rankings after an impressive finish to the season. We got a good lock at the right-hander durring the River City tourament where he ran his fastball up to 89 and mixed a sharp cutter that dominated hitters.

Lance Alexander 3B / SS / Olathe Northwest, KS / 2025One of the top statistical arms in the state this spring, Alexander posted 59.2 IP, 1.408 ERA, 72 K’s and a .159 Batting Avg Against in nine games started.

Carter Rose LHP / OF / Shawnee Mission East High, KS / 2025The uncommitted left-hander was a consistent competitor on the mound this spring for the Lancers. Rose saw his velo jump into the upper 80s at times and featued a swing and miss breaking ball.

Connor Bohon OF / Mill Valley, KS / 2025An excelent athlete that first made a splash with eye-popping numbers at the preseason all-state, Bohon continued his metoric rise with a strong showing this spring. Eventually ending up in the 3-hole for Mill Valley, the two sport star will likely continue to rise as he polishes his game.
