Biggest Risers (Uncommitted)
Karston Wall SS / RHP / Sedgwick, KS / 2025Rankings StateRank: 35 / POS: 4
Wall continues to be an uncommitted name to know in the state, jumping 9 spots up to No. 35 in this edition of our rankings. The senior had a loud spring for Sedgwick and continued that into the summer where he was a standout at our Wichita Summer ID on both sides of the ball, showing a polished right-handed swing, clean defensive actions, and running his fastball up to 87 mph on the mound. |
Terran Marshall 2B / SS / Mill Valley, KS / 2025Rankings StateRank: 40 / POS: 1
One of the biggest risers of the group, Marshall enters the top 40 of our rankings after moving up over 50 spots since our last release. Packed with athleticism, the uncommitted senior continues to add strength and polish to his game across several looks this summer, making him a name to follow this fall and next spring. |
Kaden Kearn OF / RHP / Wamego, KS / 2025Rankings StateRank: 49 / POS: 8
Up over 50 spots since our last update, Kearn was a standout at the MOKAN Summer ID earlier this summer and continues to impress our staff with every look. A name-to-know prospect on both sides of the ball, Kearn shows quick-twitch explosiveness from the right-side of the plate with sneaky gap-to-gap pop and the speed (6.63 60) and arm strength to be a factor in the outfield as well. |
Brayden Walker SS / 2B / Olathe West, KS / 2025Rankings StateRank: 55 / POS: 7
An everyday player for an Olathe West squad that captured the No. 1 seed in the 6A state tournament earlier this spring, Walker has continued to improve all aspects of his game this summer, rising over 110 spots in this edition of the rankings. With plenty of room to add strength to his 5-foot-11, 165-pound frame, Walker will likely rise as he continues to polish his game. |
Beau Beverman OF / LHP / Olathe South, KS / 2025Rankings StateRank: 69 / POS: 15
Another standout from the MOKAN Summer ID this summer, Beverman is packed with athleticism in a lean, 5-foot-10, 168-pound frame. Always a reliable defender that can cover ground with ease, Beverman continues to add strength and improve his metrics at the plate with more power to come from the left-side, rising 28 spots in this ranking. |
Biggest Risers (Committed)
Nate Schlote RHP / OF / Shawnee Mission East, KS / 2025Rankings StateRank: 2 / POS: 2
One of the biggest winners of the spring and summer, Schlote jumps 12 spots up to No. 2 in our rankings. The Vanderbilt commit possesses plenty of upside in a 6-foot-3, 195-pound frame with an explosive fastball at 90-95 mph and sharp curveball in the upper 70s that continues to improve with every outing. |
Michael Winter RHP / 3B / Shawnee Mission East, KS / 2025Rankings StateRank: 10 / POS: 4
A physical arm that seems to get better with every start, Winter is up 16 spots since our last rankings, breaking into the top 10 for the first time after a strong summer campaign. The 6-foot-5, 207-pound righty continues to be one of the top arms in the state, filling up the zone with a upper 80s fastball, reaching 90 mph at times, with a mid-to-upper-70s breaking ball. |
Kyler Schuessler OF / LHP / Shawnee Mission East, KS / 2025Rankings StateRank: 16 / POS: 2
Schuessler has had one of the loudest summers in the region, seeing himself rise over 40 spots in this most recent update. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound senior possesses loud tools across the board, swinging a strong right-handed barrel with gap-to-gap juice while also being a 6.75 runner with a 87 mph arm from the outfield to pair. |
Brody Shinkle SS / OF / Blue Valley Southwest, KS / 2025Rankings StateRank: 18 / POS: 2
One of the most well-rounded athletes in the class, Shinkle continues to see jumps in his metrics across the board, rising 7 spots in this update. The Creighton commit put on a complete performance at the Building Champions Scout Day earlier this summer, showcasing a smooth right-handed swing with exit velocities up to 97 mph with advanced defensive actions to pair on the infield. |
David Dobbs C / OF / Seaman, KS / 2025Rankings StateRank: 19 / POS: 4
Well known to our staff as a high-level defender with a blue collar attitude on the field, Dobbs has added obvious strength and polish to his swing that has impressed our staff across multiple looks this summer. This edition of our rankings sees him rise 10 spots with more to come as he continues to round-out his game. |
Cade Martinez SS / OF / De Soto, KS / 2025Rankings StateRank: 25 / POS: 3
Martinez is up 9 spots in our rankings after the addition of size and strength this spring and summer. Always a skilled player, Martinez now has the power and physicality to be a power threat at the plate to go alongside his advanced feel for the barrel and defensive actions. |
Newcomers
Jasper Logan OF / RHP / Paola, KS / 2025Rankings StateRank: 61 / POS: 13
Logan jumped onto our radar with Paola this spring and followed that up with a standout performance at our Heart of America Summer ID this summer. The uncommitted senior is packed with physicality in an athletic, 6-foot-4, 175-pound frame, swinging a powerful right-handed barrel with gap-to-gap power while also pitching in the mid-80s on the mound with his fastball. |
Hunter Loethen 3B / RHP / Paola, KS / 2025Rankings StateRank: 68 / POS: 3
Loethen emerged as an uncommitted name to keep an eye on from the MOKAN Summer ID, putting together a loud round of BP at the plate with a compact swing that showed some pop at times. The senior also showed solid fielding actions and a strong arm on the infield to pair. |
Andrew Ham RHP / St. Thomas Aquinas, KS / 2025Rankings StateRank: 78 / POS: 28
We got our first look at Ham this summer at the Building Champions Scout Day earlier this June. The 6-foot, 185-pound righty put together a strong bullpen, running his fastball up 86 mph while working both sides of the plate with a curveball/splitter mix. Ham should continue to see his velo rise as he adds strength. |
Corey Crumrine RHP / SS / Sedgwick, KS / 2025Rankings StateRank: 83 / POS: 30
Crumrine jumps into our rankings at No. 83 after a dominant spring with Sedgwick and a standout performance at the Wichita Summer ID. Sporting a frame with plenty of room to add on strength and size, the righty pitched in the low-80s with his fastball and should only see his velo rise as he continues to polish his skills. He also commanded the zone with a curveball/slider mix in the low-70s. |
Aidan Kent OF / RHP / Homeschool, KS / 2025Rankings StateRank: 90 / POS: 18
Kent came away from the Wichita Summer ID as a winner. Offensively, he swung a quick right-handed barrel at the plate, working line drives to the pullside his BP round. However, where he shined the most was on the mound, showing a mid-80s fastball featuring natural arm side run with a projectable 6-foot-4, 180-pound frame. As Kent adds strength, he will become a prospect to keep an eye on. |
Jaden Loehr-Chase LHP / OF / Blue Valley North, KS / 2025Rankings StateRank: 100 / POS: 9
Loehr-Chase showed up on our radar at the Building Champions Scout Day, making his debut in the top 100 of our rankings. At 6-foot-4, 185-pounds, Loehr-Chase uses a simple, long-levered delivery to pound the zone with his fastball that averaged 14 inches of horizontal movement. Off of that fastball he tunnels a sweeping curveball and tumbling changeup. As Loehr-Chase adds strength and velocity, he could quickly move up our rankings. |
