Newcomers
We constantly strive to see as many players as many times as possible so it is always exciting when we see a player for the first time who makes a splash into the rankings. Below are some of the top ranked newcomers to the rankings.
Blake Sebastian RHP / 1B / Blue Valley North, KS / 2025
Rankings StateRank: 28 / POS: 10
Few players in the class show a combination size and mesurables that Sebastian brings to the table. At 6-foot-6 215, the two-way athlete runs a 7.24 and shows off a 32 in verticle. The right-handed hitter took an impressive round of BP at the Kansas City ID and posted a max EV of 97 and average of 89 mph. On the mound, the right hander threw strikes in the mid 80s for the first part of his pen and ramped it up to nearlly 88 to end it. |
Ben Graverson OF / RHP / Blue Valley North, KS / 2025
Rankings StateRank: 68 / POS: 13
Graverson is a prospect we have known about for a while, but he made a huge jump this fall and not only entered the ranks, but did it with a splash. A more than capable two-way prospect, the right-hander shined brightest on the mound at the MacNSeitz scout day where he was up to 85 mph with much more in the tank. |
Conner Blume C / OF / Wamego , KS / 2025
Rankings StateRank: 73 / POS: 14
We got our first look at Blume at the KC Fall ID. A small school prospect that colleges need to have on their radar, Blume is a defense first catcher that can really catch and throw with some sneaky juice from the right-side. |
Risers
There are always players that make impressive jumps between rankings that really standout as the move up the board. Here are just a few of the top ranked and biggest movers from this update.
Colton Roberts RHP / 1B / Rose Hill, KS / 2025
Rankings StateRank: 7 / POS: 2
The highest ranked substancial riser in this rankings, Roberts moves up from 28 into the top 10 after an outstanding preformance at the KC Fall ID. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound right-hander absoluty commanded the zone at 88-89, touching 90 and mixed a short and tight slider in the upper 70s. Roberts also mixed a more than usable changeup, making him the top uncommited arm in the state. |
Fletcher Noblit SS / 2B / Shawnee Mission East, KS / 2025
Rankings StateRank: 36 / POS: 5
Our highest riser in this rendition of the rankings, Noblit really stood out at the Cavs scout day, moving up over 40 spots. Always a high-end defender, Noblit has added strength wich has really improved his metrics. The right-handed hitter is now running a 6.82 60, throwing 85 across the diamond, and posted a 93 exit velo. |
Eli Dean OF / RHP / Perry-Lecompton , KS / 2025
Rankings StateRank: 40 / POS: 6
Another small school position player featured in this rankings, Eli Dean sees his name jump nearly 40 spots after showing out at the KC Fall ID. Wesley Cupps OF / LHP / Lawrence Free State, KS / 2025
Rankings StateRank: 54 / POS: 10
The recent Ohio commit continues to move up the board thanks to polishing his skill set and remaining projectable with his 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame. Cupps is up nearly 25 spots. |
Owen Gietzen C / RHP / Mill Valley, KS / 2025
Rankings StateRank: 55 / POS: 9
