A few days before the 2015 Super 60, The Hotlist featured potential breakout candidates for the event. Here is a look at those players and how they did over the weekend.
Cam Comer, C, Olentangy Liberty HS, OH
Comer started his day off by running a 7.18-second 60 and then showed good footwork and a clean exchange during the defense portion. He threw from a long, high-3/4 slot with pop times consistently in 2.00-2.10 range. In the infield, he showed good range and the ability throw from different slots across the diamond. He really shined during batting practice. He starts with a spread out stance that keeps him balanced. He showed good rhythm and quick hands spraying the ball to all fields and showed some power to the pull side.
