Player of the Week: Zach Linquist, Perry-Lecompton HS
May 5, 2014

Prep Baseball Report Kansas
Perry-Lecompton played five games last week, winning four and running their overall record to an impressive 14-2.
To say that senior Zach Linquist did his part to help his team last week is an understatement. At the plate, the Washburn University signee went 11-for-16, with two doubles, a home run, nine RBI, seven runs scored, two walks and five stolen bases. In addition, on the mound Linquist pitched eight innings allowing a single run while striking out 18 batters.
We tried to fit all of that in the “Highlights” section in the “Other top performers from Week 7” box below but couldn’t – combine that with the fact those numbers are amazing - and Zach Linquist is the Prep Baseball Report Kansas High School Player of the Week.
