Bryce Unruh (Dodge City, 2016) is a 6-foot-3 195-pound switch-hitting third baseman and right-handed pitcher, and attended the Class of 2016 Games in August. He runs a 7.52 60 and had an 89 mph exit velo from the left side.
At the plate Unruh has a balanced set up, no stride, and loads hands. He has a line drive approach with bat speed, loose hands. From right side, he has a smooth load with a short stride and produced line drives to middle of the field.
At third base, Unruh has a long over the top release with a quick exchange and fluid footwork. 79 mph throwing velocity.
On the mound, Unruh has a high three-quarters release, attacking the zone with three pitches. Fastball at 75-79 mph, 11-to-5 curveball, 69-71 mph, late action, change-up down in zone 71-74 mph, fastball arm speed, throws with regular effort, smooth rhythm, athletic finish. Two strikeouts, one walk, one hit during outing at the Class of 2016 Games.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
Unruh: I'm looking to go into dentistry.
PBR: How did you do your junior year? What were your high school statistics? And how did your team do? Name some players that will have an impact on the 2016 season.
Unruh: My junior year went well, i batted .431 and was named 1st team all conference for the second year in a row. We lost in the Sub-State championship game to Wichita Northwest. Alec Koehn, Dayton McGroarty, Eric Reid, and Gideon Wells are all returning varsity players.
PBR: What are you goals for your senior season?
Unruh: My goals for my senior season is to make it to state, be named 1st team all conference 3 years in a row and to win our conference.
PBR: What travel team do you play for? Are you playing fall ball with a team?
Unruh: I have previously played for the Wichita reds under Paul Minor and now this upcoming summer i will be playing for the Wichita Arsenal under Paul Minor.
PBR: Do you play any other sports?
Unruh: I play Football, Basketball, and Baseball and have started varsity in all 3 sports since i was a sophomore.
PBR: What are your ACT and GPA?
Unruh: My Act score was a 20 and i just took it again this last Ocober 24th, and my GPA is 4.04.
