Player Spotlight: 1B/RHP Holden Missey (Blue Valley Northwest, 2018)

Missey: I am looking for an academically challenging environment to continue my education and to play baseball. I am searching for a good fit with the people, baseball program and community.
PBR: How did you do your junior year? What were your high school statistics? And how did your team do?
Missey: I was the starting 1B for the Blue Valley Northwest HS team. My team doesn't publish individual statistics, but I am a consistently strong hitter, fielder and team player. My primary position is 1B with secondary positions as pitcher and right fielder. My team did very well as we placed 3rd in state 6A.
PBR: What are you goals for your senior season?
Missey: My goal is to continue to improve in all aspects of my game. I would like to help my team win the state championship.
PBR: What travel team do you play for? Are you playing fall ball with a team?
Missey: I play for the Bullets and I did play fall ball with them and I plan to play summer ball with them in 2018.
PBR: Do you play any other sports?
Missey: I enjoy playing other sports, but I don't play any other sports for my HS.
PBR: What are your ACT and GPA?
Missey: 24 ACT (just took it again on 12/9/2017) and 3.85 GPA (unweighted) and 4.00 GPA (weighted)
