Body: 6-foot-2, 165-pounds. Lanky, wiry, highly projectable build.
Defense: Athletic in the field, fluid footwork, strong breakdown, athletic crow hop, feel for himself defensively.

During hitting evaluations, Cox uses a simple weight shift into his load, rhythm with hands, in line stride, quick hands, level bat path, repeatable swing, remains balanced throughout. Defensively in the outfield, he is aggressive to the baseball, over the top release, quick strong arm with carry, positional velo of 87 mph (tops at the event), mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Cox has a smooth delivery with some effort, accelerates down the mound, over the top release, clean arm action, fastball sits 78-81, tops at 82 mph, occasional run, thrown for a high percentage of strikes, curveball is 60-63 mph, sharp downward action, 12-to-6 shape, chance to be a plus pitch, changeup is 67-69 mph, occasional cut, near fastball arm speed.
