With the 2024 Kansas high school baseball season having wrapped up, it is time to announce our 2024 Prep Baseball Kansas Pitcher of the Year. This year's award goes to Texas A&M commit and number one overall prospect in Kansas' 2025 class: Grady Westphal from Blue Valley.

2024 Prep Baseball Kansas Pitcher of the Year

Locked in on the mound from the very start of the season, our 2024 Kansas Pitcher of the Year Grady Westphal put together an impressive spring in what is one of the most competitive leagues in the state from top to bottom. At 6-foot-3, 170-pounds, Westphal creates uncomfortable at bats for hitters with a fastball that has been up to 93 mph and a wipeout slider at 77-82 mph that he is not afraid to throw in any count. This spring, the junior posted a 5-1 record, allowing only 5 earned runs all year for an impressive 0.77 ERA while showing swing and miss stuff, racking up 72 strikeouts.

Congradulations to Grady Westphal on winning our 2024 Prep Baseball Kansas Pitcher of the Year Award!
