Season Outlook

Paola will have a solid nucleus of senior leadership in 2018, returning six starters from a season ago.  The Panthers strength will be on defense, as they return their entire outfield in Drew Smith, Nick Modes and Wyatt Johnson.  Seniors Kurt Golubski and Nash Drieling will anchor the left side of the infield, and on the mound, senior Kale Clark and Golubski will called on heavily.  Watch for sophomore Micheal Dagget to make big impact on the mound as well as seniors Brody Mundell and Luke Angermeyer.  Junior Garrett Trimmer will also provide much needed depth on the staff this spring as well. This spring, the Panthers will look to get past the Regional Championship game an into the State Tournament.
