Season Outlook
The Ottawa Cyclones will look to get back into the Kansas 4A-D1 State Championship game with five returning position player and one returning pitching from a season ago. The Cyclones will be lead by four seniors that led them in post season in 2017. Senior C Chandler Bloomer (Barton CC), P Chance Cowley (Coffeyville CC), INF Kaleb Shaffer (Fort Scott) and UTL Jared Parenti all earned post season honors as juniors. Seniors Johnny Nash and Owen Lamar will play a big role this spring along with juniors Isaac Blaine and Chad Bones, and Aiden Michel. Ottawa will have three sophomores who could step and play key roles as well in JD Van Horn, Colby McCurdy and Dairdren Aho. This group will look to build on the second place finish in 2017.
