This spring, the Bishop Miege Stags look to get back to the state tournament for the fourth year in a row and compete the Kansas 4A-1 state title. They will be lead by a strong group of seniors, man y who are returning letter winners. Three returning players earned post season honors last season, senior INF Carter Putz (Notre Dame), senior OF Nick Percell and senior INF Drew Perez (Independence CC). The senior class will also include two other players with college commitments in C Paul Wendling (Indiana State) and RHP Ethan Axman (Jefferson CC). Also watch for seniors INF Sam Jones, OF David Robinson and LHP Tegan King to have a high impact on the teams success this spring. The Stags will also have a talented crop of juniors and sophomores battling for positions this spring, such as junior RHP Matt Moriarty. The Stags will once again be contenders in Kansas' 4A-1 class.
