As we prepare for the upcoming 2015 high school season, we will be taking a preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

Tanner Allen. Last spring Allen went 6-1 with a 0.82 ERA on the mound with 69 strikeouts in 42 innings pitched earning KABC 2-1A All-State honors in the process.

NEWCOMER TO WATCH
Wyatt Anderson, RHP/C/IF, 2015.

KEY PLAYER LOST
Colton Marcotte, UT, 2014. All-Flinthills League utility player did it all for the Vikings last spring playing every position on the field throughout the course of the season except catcher.

2015 OUTLOOK:  
The Vikings return seven starters from their everyday line-up and five pitchers that threw at least 15 innings giving them one of the most experienced clubs in all of 2-1A baseball. Four All-Flinhills League performers from a year ago are included in the returning group: RHP/3B Tanner Allen, C Tyce Broadbent, RHP/OF Isaac Deters and RHP/1B Colton Conway. Junior SS Cole Hodge is also back after earning all-league honors as a sophomore. The Vikings coaching staff looks for senior utility player Wyatt Anderson to see an expanded role this spring, as well.
