Unsigned Seniors : Top Uncommitted '25 Arms
August 27, 2024
Our Class of 2025 player rankings are set to refresh tomorrow, with a handful of risers moving up the board after a strong summer. We have 47 players currently committed to Division I programs within the class, and 35+ others committed to programs across various levels.
For a quick teaser before the full list is released, read along to learn about the top arms that are still available in the class, with another group deserving to be noted.
Will Coleman LHP / Castle, IN / 2025+ Coleman offers top-of-the-class pitchability pairing with elite body control and above average stuff. Simply put - the kid can flat out pitch & he is on a short list of '25s that I would turn the ball over to in a must-win scenario. His upper-80's (T89) fastball works with carry properties and plays up with his ability to pitch backwards. Coleman's upper-70's changeup is one of the best offerings in the class - a true weapon that he can use against RHH and LHH alike. There is feel to manipulate spin, offering a firmer, flatter slider to go with a top-down curveball that is more of a "get-me-over". There is ample room for strength gains in the 6-foot-1, 175 pound frame that will louden his overall stuff as he matures and Coleman will be a late steal for a program looking to complete their '25 class with a future weekend starter. |
Joe Glander RHP / Noblesville, IN / 2025From 3/26/24
+ After an injury-plagued sophomore season, it was good to get a look at Glander early in his junior campaign. The projectable, 6-foot-2, 180 pounder appears to be back in the swing of things, showing very well in this look. The arm works fast with a loose whip to a high 3/4 - OTT release point. The delivery is athletic and he moves down the slope with a fast pace. His fastball worked at 85-88 mph in this cold weather look, a number that will likely tick up as the weather warms. The fastball was commanded at an above average clip, and I really liked his 74-77 mph slider. The slider has taken a step up since my last look at him, a sharp, sweeping pitch that has out-pitch upside. Glander rounded out his three-pitch mix by flashing a low-80s straight change.

Lucas Collins LHP / Bishop Dwenger, IN / 2025From 4/19/24 + Collins turned in a quality start in his first appearance as a junior, exiting with a 9-4 lead over #1 ranked Carmel. An athletic, 6-foot, 180 pound southpaw - Collins shows body control and athleticism within his delivery that allows a quick left arm to follow. The No. 2 ranked uncommitted lefty in Indiana's junior class sat 85-88 (T89) mph on a fastball with arm-side run, a pitch that he was able to command to his arm-side. It was encouraging to see his slider firmer in this look, now working at 77-80 with short, tight break. The slider has taken a step up and he showed a fading, upper-70s change, as well. The arm stroke works with an athletic sling to a 3/4 slot, and he shows above-average command for his three-pitch mix. |
Trevor Fenters RHP / Valparaiso, IN / 2025+ Fenters saw a significant rise in this update, a projectable, 6-foot-3 right-hander with upside to boast. Fenters reached 91 mph this summer, routinely working in the 87-90 range. His arm action works short & compact, hiding behind the body until late to add deception the operation. He mixes with a slurvey, mid-70's breaking ball that is tightly-spun (2500) and shows out-pitch upside. Fenters also offers an upper-70's change to keep starter hopes alive at the next level. A strong showing on the summer circuit earned Fenters an invite to the inagural Prep Baseball Senior Future Games. |
Brad Rohde RHP / Hanover Central, IN / 2025+ Another Senior Future Games participant - Rohde broke out at our Great Lakes Summer ID, showing big gains compared to our last looks at him. An imposing presence on the hill with a 6-foot-5, 225 pound frame, Rohde works up to 91 mph on a lower slot heater that plays with ride/run properties. The heater is a future weapon that he is able to get swings-and-misses with, and he is also able to induce whiffs with a tight, slurvey, mid-to-upper 70's breaking ball. Rohde rounds out his three pitch mix with an upper-70's splitter that is a usable offering. |
Ryne Michaeloff RHP / Homestead, IN / 2025+ Michaeloff provides some unique release traits to go along with above average stuff. The 6-foot-1, 185 pounder pitches out of a near-sidearm slot w/ sub-5-foot release heights, adding deception to a mid-to-upper 80's (T89) fastball that plays with significant arm-side run. Michaeloff spins a mid-to-upper 70's slider, north of 2600 routinely, and also shows a swing-and-miss change that consistently gets 20"+ of arm-side horizontal break. There is minimal effort to the operation and he is an above average strikethrower. |
Trent Kulig RHP / Andrean, IN / 2025+ Kulig is a big-bodied right-hander that provides an imposing look with a physical, 6-foot-4, 220 pound frame. Attacking from a high, over-the-top slot, Kulig works downhill on an upper-80's cut fastball that has reached 91 mph. His breaking ball plays with 12/6 shape at 74-78 mph, an upside pitch that continues to improve with each look. He will show a low-80's splitter, at times, as a usable third pitch. There are many traits to like within the operation, with upside still remaining in the physical frame. |
Talan Steinway RHP / Indian Creek Senior High, IN / 2025+ Steinway is a high floor righty with several traits to dream on, along with present abilities to like. The lanky, athletic, 6-foot-2, 170 pound frame still holds room for growth and the arm swing works clean on the backside with above average arm speed to release. Steinway is a controlled mover with evident body control in the delivery to allow for repeatability. His fastball consistently works in the mid-to-upper 80's, reaching 91 at one point this summer, and playing with true carry. His low-to-mid-70's breaking ball is his best offering, a tightly-spun, two-plane offering that spins north of 2500 regularly. Steinway also shows an upper-70's change that plays with arm side fade. A strong mix, paired with quality command of the zone, makes for a starter's profile and Steinway's best days are still ahead of him. |
Drew Jennings RHP / Brownsburg , IN / 2025+ Jennings provides a unique look, pitching from a low 3/4 slot with a crossfired delivery to create deception. The 6-foot-3, 205 pounder routinely works in the mid-to-upper 80's, touching 91 on the circuit this summer, and the fastball plays up as it works with 6'4" of extension. The fastball works with sinker properties (19.4" HZ, 8" IVB) and pairs well with his sweeping, mid-to-upper 70's slider. Likely a reliever moving forward, Jennings profiles as a quality right-on-right matchup guy with a powerful back-end arm as the current ceiling. |
