Top Uncommitted Tools - Class of 2025

Our 2025 class rankings were updated this week and now we turn our focus to the top tools that are still available in Indiana's junior class. These tools are derived from both showcase performances, along with in-game evaluations done by our staff throughout the 2023 spring, summer, and fall. Read along to learn more about the top uncommitted position player tools in the 2025 class, with the pitcher article following tomorrow.
Runners

Perkins holds down the number one spot here after blazing a 6.33 60 yard dash during the summer of 2023, the best 60 we have seen in the class, regardless of commitment. Perkins has the ability to get to top speed in a blink, turning in a 10 yard split of 1.49 seconds. A true centerfielder that is also a standout as a ball carrier on the gridiron, Perkins is currently the top ranked uncommitted outfielder in the class.
Fry, an absolute physical specimen that holds a muscular, 6-foot, 195 pound frame, is a 6.43 runner with a rare combination of elite speed & power at the dish.
Washburn (video) may not have the loudest 60 time in the class (6.75), but the uncommitted left-handed hitter is one of the fastest in-game players in the class. Washburn has turned in several sub-4.2 Home-1st times and is an exceptional base stealer with obvious instincts and first-step quickness. Washburn is the top ranked uncommitted shortstop in the class.

McTagertt (video) carries strong bat-to-ball skills with a simple timing mechanism and a barrel that works level through the hitting zone. A consumate performer, McTagertt has plus bat speed (81.8 mph max) that helps him make swing decisions on-time on a consistent basis. McTagertt is currently the top ranked position player available in the class.
Corbett has been a steady performer against top competition dating back to his freshman season. A career .368 hitter playing one of the state's toughest schedules, Corbett has gotten on base at a .533 clip and boasts a BB:K ratio of 2:1 (48 BB | 24 K) throughout his career. The Noblesville product possesses very solid bat-to-ball skills, the ability to simplify and hit velocity, and there is minimal swing and miss in his game.
Agbonhese, a projectable, 6-foot-3, 170 pounder, led the HCC in hitting during his sophomore campaign and possesses quick hands that whip an accurate barrel through the hitting zone.

Sparks, a physical, 6-foot-1, 200 pound left-handed hitter, was a standout for Team Indiana at the Future Games where he showcased his speed/power combination. Sparks (video) is a 6.75 runner with bat speed that turns in uphill barrel that allows for present pull-side power.
Drozlek, a 6-foot-6, 225 pounder, has continously added strength to his frame and shows the ability to hit for power to all fields. Drozlek produced multiple upper-90s exit velocities in-game throughout the fall of 2023.

A 6.33 60 yard dash helps Perkins (video) cover serious ground in centerfield, as the top ranked uncommitted runner is also the top ranked defender on this list. Perkins wowed recruiters with his range at this year's Future Games, and he also offers arm strength (89 mph) from the outfield.
Frakes, an undersized shortstop with quality actions, has extremely quick feet on the dirt to go along with soft glove actions. Frakes is a near-plus runner with lateral quickness that translates to range in the middle of the diamond.
Williamson shows long-term shortstop traits with a lanky, athletic, 6-foot-1, 170 pound frame. A fluid mover on the dirt, Williamson shows smooth actions, sure hands, and carries the ball across the infield with above average arm strength (85 mph).

Carnahan (video) is a strong, compact, 6-foot, 185 pounder. The Cathedral product boasts a well-rounded toolset, but his best tool is his arm, producing an outfield velocity of 92 mph.
Appearing on this list for the second time, Corbett possesses the strongest uncommitted infield arm in the class - clocked at 91 mph across the diamond at our Preseason All-State in 2023.
An athletic outfielder from the southern part of the state, Combs has a very quick arm that has been up to 90 mph with carry from the outfield.

One of the state's top uncommitted hitters, Agbonhese (video) appears again due to his projectable, 6-foot-3, 170 pound frame that holds significant room to add strength. As Riley adds strength, he will only become more impacful at the dish. Also, Agbonhese possesses an above average run tool that should only improve as he matures.
Williamson is one of the state's top uncommitted defenders, but he holds upside in all parts of his game. Williamson has athletic movement patterns in everything he does on the diamond - a fluid mover in the infield along with a smooth, athletic swing from the right-side of the dish. Williamson should mature into more bat strength & twitch as he adds strength to his lanky, 6-foot-1, 170 pound frame.
Giesler, a product of a perennial powerhouse program in Jasper, has traits to suggest his best baseball is well-ahead of him. A 6-foot-3, 195 pound left-handed hitter - there is some rawness in Giesler's game currently, but the bat speed, athleticism, and above average foot-speed are all tools to dream on.
