Indiana's 2025 class currently boasts 27 division one commits to date, with lots of uncommitted talent still left on the board. Now that we have finished the fall season, we are beginning to go in-depth on the top uncommitted talent in the class, breaking them down by position. Today - we look at the top ten uncommitted right handed pitchers in Indiana's 2025 class.

Trent Kulig RHP / Andrean High School, IN / 2025A physical right-hander that looks the part of a future-power arm, standing at 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds. Kulig boasts tremendous upside along with a cutting, upper-80s fastball that has touched 90 mph. The Andrean product mixes with a slurvey, low-to-mid 70s breaking ball and a cut change at 74-76 mph. There is present strength in the lower half that helps to generate a powerful fastball, while the arm works on a longer arm path. When synced, the fastball jumps out of the hand with above average extension. I like the upside within the operation, and if Kulig can learn to repeat on a consistent basis and sure up some inconsistencies with the breaking ball, he should be a prized recruit in the 2025 class next spring & summer.

Wyatt Pennington RHP / SS / Avon, IN / 2025An athletic right-hander - Pennington is on a short list of uncommitted '25s that have eclipsed the 90 mph mark on the fastball. Standing at 6-foot, 175 pounds with a frame consisting of lean muscle, the uncommitted junior routinely sits in the mid-to-upper 80s on a fastball that has been up to 90 mph. Pennington compliments the fastball with a two-plane breaking ball in the low-70s and the pitch has upside with continued development. Pennington will flash an upper-70s straight change and his athleticism also gives him the ability to drop to a sidearm slot, working more with the fastball/slider from that angle. The combination of athleticism and arm talent allows for an easier delivery and the ability to pitch from multiple slots adds deception & intrigue to the operation. The Avon product also offers two-way abilities as a versatile defender with arm strength & bat speed from the right-side of the dish.

Logan Cotton RHP / Crown Point High School, IN / 2025A Future Gamer for Team Indiana in 2023 and an uncommitted righty with plenty to dream on. I saw a couple of strong starts from Cotton this fall and the 6-foot-4, 195 pounder continues to trend in the right direction. Cotton's frame holds significant room for added strength and its easy to project his velocity to continue to trend upwards when considering his frame and low-effort operation on the mound. Cotton's easy effort delivery and clean arm swing allows him to compete in the strike zone at an above average clip with all three of his offerings. The projectable right-hander sits in the mid-to-upper 80s on his fastball, touching 88 mph. Cotton spins an 11/5 shaped breaking ball for strikes at 72-75 mph and rounds out his three-pitch mix with a faded changeup in the upper-70s.

Tristan Wilson RHP / North Central , IN / 2025A broad-shouldered, 6-foot-2, 205 pounder - Wilson has a powerful fastball that we've seen reach as high as 91.5 mph. The uncommitted right-hander pitches from a 3/4 arm slot that allows for significant arm-side run on the fastball. The fastball is paired with a short, mid-70s slider and he rounds out his three-pitch mix with an upper-70s change. The arm is fast with effort in the delivery, profiling best as a back-end bullpen arm at the next level, however Wilson does possess one of the better fastballs of any uncommitted junior in the state.

Kellen English RHP / North High School, IN / 2025A projectable, 6-foot-8, 205 pound right-hander with tons to dream on - English put together a strong summer that led to an invitiation to the PBR Future Games. The fastball plays with significant ride (19 - 24" of IVB) from a high, over-the-top slot (7+ foot release height) sitting in the mid-80s (T 86 mph) with significant velocity left in the tank. English spins a slurvey, mid-70s breaking ball that shows flashes of out-pitch potential & rounds out his three-pitch mix with a mid-to-upper 70s change. As English learns to sync up his long-levered frame, his stuff and pitchability will only continue to improve & he owns one of the highest ceilings of any uncommitted arm still left on the board.

Ivan Mastalski RHP / Andrean, IN / 2025Upside and pitch-ability are the calling cards for this 6-foot-3, 200 pounder out of Andrean High School. Mastalski pitches with a well-sequenced, low-effort delivery that allows him to flood the zone with a three-pitch mix. His best pitch is his sinking, mid-to-upper 70s changeup - a pitch that he has complete command of & will throw in any count. The fastball comes out of the same 3/4 slot, living in the mid-80s (T 87 mph), and it plays up due to his ability to pitch backwards & also has some run/sink action to it. Mastalski rounds out his arsenal with a low-70s breaking ball that flashes sweeping action. While there is still significant room in the frame to add lean strength, expect this strike-throwing right-hander to continue to add velocity as he matures into more strength.

Aidan Micinski RHP / John Adams, IN / 2025Micinski performed very well in front of our staff throughout the fall of 2023, cementing himself amongst the top uncommitted right-handers in the class. The projectable, 6-foot-3, 160 pounder moves down the slope with athleticism, landing slightly closed, and showing balance throughout the delivery. The arm swing is quick and uninterrupted, releasing from an over-the-top slot to create carry (Avg 18"- 20" of IVB) on a fastball that works at 85-87 mph. Micinski tunnels a 12/6 shaped curveball off of the fastball, a 69-72 mph offering that plays well off of his fastball with carry. Micinski flashes an upper-70s change to round out his three-pitch mix. A strike-thrower with starter upside - there is significant room for the frame to hold more strength, which should allow the fastball velocity to continously tick up.

Grant Mercer RHP / Lake Central, IN / 2025A '25 arm worth a follow - Mercer owns a projectable, 6-foot-4, 185 pound frame and has eclipsed the 90 mph mark on his fastball, routinely sitting in the mid-to-upper 80s. The long-limbed right-hander attacks with a long, uninterrupted arm swing that whips to release and the frame suggests that more velocity is left in the tank. Mercer compliments his fastball with a slurvey, upper-70s slider that shows flashes of sharp bite. The pitchability is still a question mark at this point, but there is undeniable upside when considering the frame and present arm talent.

Brad Rohde RHP / Hanover Central, IN / 2025An imposing figure toeing the rubber at 6-foot-5, 215 pounds - Rohde offers all-kinds of upside when combining his frame and arm strength. There is some rawness in the delivery, however the arm strength allows Rohde to sit in the mid-80s on his fastball, touching 88 mph. The ball comes out of a 3/4 slot and he shows feel to spin a slurvey breaking ball in the low-to-mid 70s, also flashing an upper-70s change at times. The projectable right-hander is far from a finished product, but the combination of an above average fastball, feel for the strike zone, and a long-levered frame makes Rohde a '25 arm to follow.

Drew Jennings RHP / Brownsburg , IN / 2025A right-handed arm that provides a funky look - Jennings attacks from a near sidearm slot with a mid-to-upper 80s (T87) fastball that sinks due to the slot. A nightmare look for right-handed hitters - Jennings lands crossfired in the delivery to add deception to release from a near LCF angle. The breaking ball works with sweep at 71-74 mph, a potential out-pitch with continued development. Jennings boasts some athleticism within his 6-foot-2, 180 pound frame and his arm works loose and uninterrupted, suggesting there is more development to be had.
