The second annual Prep Baseball All-American Game is fast approaching and two Indiana players have been selected to participate in this prestigious event. LHP Caden Crowell of Valparaiso will suit up for the 2025 squad, scheduled to pitch in the 4th inning of the game. C Sean Dunlap of Crown Point will represent the 2026 squad after a breakout sophomore season. 

After the successful launch of the Prep Baseball All-American Game last year, the game comes to Miami in 2024 and promises to be bigger and better. One thing won’t change: The All-American Game will still feature the best high school baseball talent in the nation, with the top high school seniors taking on the best junior prospects to see which class reigns supreme.

The classes of 2025 and 2026 will face off on Saturday, Sept. 14 at loanDepot Park, home of the Miami Marlins. Both teams will participate in a workout day at the ballpark on Friday, Sept. 13, as part of a full weekend of activities.

The present mix of stuff plus pitch-ability, to go along with big league bloodlines, should bring a flock of MLB Scouts to Valparaiso in the spring of 2025.

Sean Dunlap C / OF / Crown Point, IN / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 5 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 62 / POS: 2 Dunlap provides the look of a professional backstop with his physical, 6-foot-3, 200 pound frame and offers a loud toolset to pair. A huge winner from the Prep Baseball Future Games - Dunlap shows off premier catch and throw abilities, firing 82 mph bullets from the crouch with pops registering in the 1.8’s. This tool plays even higher in game, where he looks for outs on the bases, pairing with quality receiving skills alike. There is real raw power in the aggressive hacks that he gets off, delivering a heavy barrel on a rotational path with plenty of bat speed behind it, allowing for legitimate middle of the order projections to pair with the aforementioned defensive prowess. Young for the class (will just turn 18 at graduation), Dunlap’s present abilities garner a high-floor look, while the ceiling continues to go even higher & higher with each look.
