2017 TEAM PREVIEW: Plymouth Pilgrims

Head Coach: Ryan Wolfe
Class: 4A
2016 Record: 19-11
Conference (2016 Record): NLC 10-4 (Tied - 1st)
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/3

2017 Team Strengths:

• Starting Pitching
• Athleticism
• Offense  

Top Returning Players:

• Dyllon Pavey, C, 2017
• Jeremy Drudge (right), OF/P, 2018
• Cam Dennie, P/SS, 2019
• Benji Nixon, INF, 2018

Outlook: Coach Wolfe graduated a handful of seniors last year, but looks to replace them with young talent that develops experience throughout 2017's season.  Led by Valpo recruit, Jeremy Drudge, the offense should have some firepower this year.  Two-way sophomore, Cam Dennie, an Arizona State recruit and highly touted 2016 PBR Future Games  pitcher, should be a staple for the Pilgrims on the mound and in the lineup the next 3 years.  Coach Wolfe expects to compete both for a conference title and a run in the playoffs with this group.
