Garrett Harker, RHP/3B, Lebanon HS, 2021, 5 foot 11, 175 pounds, showed great feel for the barrel at the plate using a barrel lift to get to a get separated launch position. Has bat speed as he posted an exit velo of 83 mph with a balanced approach, and will develop gap power over time. Showed good 3B/2B actions defensively with plenty of arm strength across the field. On the mound, Garrett throws from a mid ¾ slot and a shorter quick arm action. Fastball was 83-86 with some ASR. CH was a good pitch with fade action and sat 75-77. SL has tight spin and sharp break and sat 73-76. Delivery is simple and repeatable and arm is quick, should add velo as he matures. Harkur is a very good two-way talent and is a good get for the University of Cincinnati.
