North Central High School senior outfielder Roy Thurman has decommitted from Louisville and is back on the market.
Thurman committed to the Cardinals his sophomore year. He cited “admissions problems” as the ultimate reason to open things up and explore other options.
Thurman told us that he currently carries a 2.7 GPA.
He listed the D1 schools in Indiana, Wright State, Cincinnati, Arizona State, Oregon, Missouri and Missouri State as schools he has interest in as well as any SEC, ACC or Big 12 school.
The outfielder has a big and strong frame at 6-foot, 200 pounds with a power approach from the right side of the plate. At the 2014 Future Games he ran a 6.89-60.
