This event has a rich history of top prospects emerging to the forefront in their respective classes. Last year’s event featured three RHP’s Ryan Fender (Crown Point, IN), Tyler Schlaffer (Homewood-Flossmoor, IL) and Kyle Wisch (Hinsdale Central, IL), who were eventually selected to participate in the 2017 Future Games. Currently there are 12 players from last year who have made a college commitment with more to come.

The event also featured Illinois standouts INF/OF Brian Adams (Sandburg, 2019) and two 2020s currently ranked in the Top 20 of Illinois; C Trevor Davis (Danville) and RHP/OF Eben Heine (Plainfield North).
The event held two years ago was just as impressive as last years. The state of Indiana was represented well with three Division I commits in attendance. 2018 RHP Grant Brunt (Chesterton) committed to Purdue, 2017 RHP Matthew Litwicki (Lake Central) committed to Indiana and 2017 SS Zach Orn (Eastside) committed to Valparaiso.

Some notable Illinois participants from the event two years ago were LHP/OF Joshua Williams (Simeon, 2019) SS Jamarion Loston (Morgan Park, 2018), an Indian Hills CC commit and a number of others. Reports have had Williams up to 87 mph recently and Loston is one of the top middle infield defenders in the state.
There are sure to be more breakout performers at Monday’s event.
