With several new states added to Prep Baseball Report’s coverage area in recent months, Team Select was put together for the 2014 PBR Future Games with a roster made up of a few players from various states. So far, Team Select has caught plenty of eyes with its talent and two wins on the first day of games.

Playing in the first time slot, Team Select sent RHP Tyler Thompson (Hardin Valley HS, TN) to the hill to face Team Wisconsin. Thompson jumps out immediately with his 6-foot-5, 180-pound frame and despite a battle with the strike zone, he impressed with his arsenal too. In one inning of work, Thompson walked three and struck out three.
