The 2015 Prep Baseball Report Future Games concluded Saturday as 14 teams of uncommitted 2017s and 2018s competed in front of more than 150 college coaches. There was plenty of raw talent to see and players’ tools translated to standout performances. While many players impressed those watching, one separated himself.
RHP/OF Samuel Carlson (Burnsville HS, MN) showed off his two-way ability and dominated on both sides of the ball, earning him MVP honors of the Future Games. In three games, the 6-foot-4, 185-pounder went 5-for-8 with four doubles, a triple and four RBIs. On the mound, he pitched two innings and struck out two while giving up one hit and a hit batter.
