Indiana Player of the Week : Honorable Mention Week #2

The week two player of the week honor goes to Max Clark (Franklin HS). The Vanderbilt recruit and number one player in the 2023 class went 11 for 14 at the plate with three doubles, a homerun, nine RBI and five walks.

Donnie Wiley, Dekalb HS, 1B/RHP, 2023
Wiley had a very impressive week for Dekalb HS, with two complete game, shutout wins in the same week. The senior right-hander worked 12 IP with 18 K’s, while also going 6 for 14 (.429) at the plate with 3 HR, 8 RBI, 7 R, and 4 SB.
Joseph Greene, Hammond Central HS, CF/LHP, 2023
Greene went 4 for 7 (.571) with a homerun, 4 RBI, 3 R, and 4 SB. He also went 1-0 on the mound for Hammond Central.
Logan Marsell, McCutcheon HS, 2B/RHP, 2024
Marsell had a big week offensively for McCutcheon HS, going 9 for 14 (.643) with a homerun, 11 RBI, 4 BB, and 8 SB. He also worked 2.2 scoreless innings on the mound with 3 K.
Ben Hammond, Fishers HS, RHP, 2024
Hammond earned the win for Fishers HS against 4A #9 Mt. Vernon, throwing 6 IP, allowing just 0 R and 2 H, while striking out 11.
Mason Weaver, Homestead HS, RHP, 2024
Weaver threw an absolute gem at Championship Park in Kokomo, Indiana during the inaugural Bullpen X PBR Indiana High School Series. Weaver threw a complete game shutout, allowing just 2 H, while striking out 14.
Kevin Reed, Martinsville HS, LHP, 2023
Reed threw 5 ⅓ innings against 4A #5 Mooresville, allowing just 2 H, 1 ER, and 1 BB, while striking out 14 batters.
Noah Hessong, Plainfield HS, C, 2023
The senior catcher went 8 for 14 (.571) with 3 2B, 2 3B, and 6 runs scored.
Coulter Hamilton, Brownsburg HS, INF, 2023
Hamilton went 7 for 12 (.583) on the week with 2 2B and 1 HR for Brownsburg.
Josh Adamczewski, Lake Central HS, INF, 2023
Adamczewski was an on-base machine for Lake Central, going 6 for 7 (.857) with 5 2B, 5 RBI, 5 R scored, and 5 BB. The Ball State recruit’s on-base percentage was .917 for the week.
Matt Ritter, Avon HS, RHP, 2023
In two appearances, Ritter threw 6 IP, allowing 0 ER, and striking out 10 for Avon HS.
Connor Sims, Greenfield-Central HS, RHP, 2023
Sims earned the win for Greenfield-Central, throwing a complete game shutout, allowing just 1 H, and striking out 16.
Kaleb Marrs, West Vigo HS, RHP, 2023
Marrs had a big performance in his start on the mound, going 6 IP, allowing just 4 H, and striking out 17 in a win for West Vigo.
Brady Wilson, Terre Haute South Vigo HS, INF, 2025
The sophomore went 9 for 13 (.692) with 2 2B, 9 RBI, 4 SB, and 4 BB.
Ethan Kimmerle, Covenant Christian, RHP, 2023
Kimmerle posted impressive numbers on both sides of the ball, going 8 for 13 (.615) at the plate with 2 XBH and 6 RBI. The senior also struck out 9 in 4 IP, picking up the win for Covenant Christian HS.
Lincoln Cardwell, Northwestern HS, C, 2024
The junior catcher had a big offensive week, going 7 for 12 (.583) with 4 2B, 1 3B, and 5 walks in 5 games.
