Indiana Class of 2025: Rankings Update

With the conclusion of the 2022 season, we have made an update to our Class of 2025 Rankings. The list has been expanded to 125 players, with movement in the Top 10 and throughout the list. This class currently has 13 players committed to Power 5 programs with plenty of uncommitted talent still left on the board. Today, we are highlighting some of the top uncommitted prospects in Indiana’s 2025 class.

Uncommitted Talent

Logan Smolar / RHP/OF / Andrean HS
Smolar is a physical, 6-foot-2, 190 pound two-way prospect with an impressive toolset. On the mound, Smolar has advanced arm strength and can reach into the low 90s with his fastball, topping at 91 mph. A 6.70 runner, Smolar has major power potential in his left-handed swing, hitting multiple deep home runs in his batting practice round at the PBR Future Games in July and reaching a max exit velocity of 99 mph. 

 

Will Coleman / LHP / Castle HS
A lanky, athletic 6-foot, 160 pound southpaw. Coleman has quick, clean arm action with good balance throughout his delivery. His fastball sits 81-83 T 84 mph and he can really command his three-pitch mix. His best offspeed pitch is his fading, 71-73 mph changeup. Coleman has a big, 1/7 curveball that he has plenty of feel for at 68-73 mph. Coleman has plenty of room to add size/strength to his frame and we expect the fastball velocity to continue to climb. 

 

Gavin Meyer / RHP / Illiana Christian HS
Uber-projectable, 6-foot-5, 205 pound right-hander with a high upside. Meyer has a smooth, slow-tempo delivery and has been up to 85 mph on his fastball with cutting action. He has tons of feel for his 11/5, 70-73 mph curveball that he can use early in the count, or as an out-pitch. 

 

Tristan Wilson / RHP / North Central HS
We saw Wilson steadily climb the 2025 rankings in 2022. Wilson was very impressive in a look late in the fall, where he sat 84-88 T 89 mph on his fastball. A strong, 6-foot-1, 200 pounder, Wilson attacks hitters with a drop-and-drive delivery and pitches from a ¾ arm slot that allows serious arm-side run on his fastball. Wilson has a short, tight 72-76 mph slider that continued to improve each time we saw him in 2022. 

 

Landon Sarkey / LHP/OF / Hanover Central HS
Two-way prospect that stood out all weekend at Canes Scout Weekend. The athletic, 5-foot-10, 165 pounder had the top OF velocity of the event (91 mph) and continued to show his arm strength in his outing on the mound, where the southpaw sat 81-84 T 85 mph on his fastball. Sarkey uses a slow-tempo delivery with quick arm speed, also showing the ability to command a 1/7, 68-70 mph curveball. At the plate, the left-handed hitter has a small, compact load with a short stride and fast hands. Sarkey’s simple approach allowed him to be on the barrel all weekend, producing loud contact in multiple AB’s. 

 

Parker Rhodes / RHP/OF / Greenfield Central HS
An athletic, 6-foot, 160 pounder. Rhodes sat 84-86 T 87 mph (2400+ RPM) on his fastball in a look this summer and has a tight, 73-76 mph slider. Rhodes uses an athletic, drop-and-drive delivery with ultra quick arm speed. 

 

Riley Agbonhese / OF / Zionsville HS
Long, projectable right-handed hitting outfielder standing at 6-foot-2, 170 pounds. Agbonhese has twitchy bat speed with plenty of power potential, producing a max exit velocity of 96 mph at an event this summer. A 6.9 runner, Agbonhese has a chance to be very physical with added size/strength. 

 

Trevor Corbett / SS / Noblesville HS
Primary SS that has the ability to also play 3B and the OF, with present strength and a clean right-handed swing. The 6-foot, 175 pounder stays behind the ball well w/ advanced bat speed for a 2025. Corbett hit .406 in arguably the state’s toughest conference as a freshman and also offers good arm strength (85 INF Velo) across the diamond.
