With the 2018-2019 Prospect Showcase coming up on September 20th at Grand Park in Westfield, IN, throughout the next several weeks we are going to highlight some of the top 2018-2019 prospects we have seen thus far.
Player Name: Zac Tuinei
Primary Position: 3B
High School: Noblesville
Grad Year: 2019
Notes: Freshman Zac Tuinei is an athletic 6-foot, 180 pounder with a strong frame. At the Underclass Games workout in June he ran a 7.00-60. Defensively, he possesses athletic actions with soft hands, quick feet and a quick exchange. He plays through the baseball with athleticism. Across the diamond from a long, loose high ¾ arm action he was 73 mph. Offensively, Tuinei hits from a balanced setup and loads back. His stride is short and gets good use of his lower half. He showcased quick hands at the plate with a level path, consistently producing hard hit line drives. He's recorded a high exit velocity of 85 mph.
