With the 2017-2018 Prospect Showcase coming up on September 21st, we are highlighting some of the top 2017 players we've seen thus far in the Hoosier State.

Name: Zach Britton
High School: Batesville
Graduating Class: 2017
Position: C
Height: 6-0
Weight: 168

The 2017 left-handed hitting catcher increased his stock this summer starting with the Underclass Games in July and then the Future Games a few days later.  Britton showcased one of the purest swings with easy pull-side power while registering an exit velo of 88 mph.  He possesses all around good athleticism both in the field and at the plate.  At the Underclass Games workout he ran a 7.19 60. During the Future Games workouts he delivered a 1.93 pop time, with most of his throws sitting between a 2.01-2.07.  The rising sophomore has garnered attention from several Division 1 programs, and will continue to receive looks next spring as he'll be receiving one of the top 2015 arms in the Midwest in RHP Bryan Hoeing.
