Cole Breeden provided the look of a future front-line arm in three innings of work. His 6-foot-4 frame pairs with pristine arm action to create an exciting future-prospect. With command of a three pitch mix and above average stuff presently, this Southern Indiana native appears to be next-in-line in Indiana's strong tradition of producing power right-handed arms. Breeden allowed zero hits, allowing just one walk and an unearned run, to earn the victory.

Darret Branson secured the victory for Team Indiana, tossing two scoreless frames, allowing just a hit and a walk. Another highly-projectable right-hander on the staff, Branson worked his fastball up to 81 mph and spun his breaking ball in the 22-2300 range. The breaking ball looks the part of a future-out pitch with two-plane shape and tight spin.

After dazzling in the showcase portion of the event, Mason Biernacki led the position player group in game one. The future Penn Kingsmen went 3 for 3 on the day, scoring two runs, driving in another, and stealing two bases. Biernacki got the ball rolling for the Indiana natives, collecting a single in the first, then stealing second base, before scoring to grab the Hoosier State an early lead. The 5-foot-10, 160 pounder turns a tight, efficient barrel with plenty of impact behind it - a name-to-know freshman with some already-loud tools.
