Christian Forniss, LHP, Brebeuf Jesuit HS

A compact, 6-foot-1, 185 pounder with some strength. Forniss has showed steady improvements from last fall to this spring with a fastball that worked up to 87 mph at the Preseason All-State this March. The Brebeuf southpaw moves down the slope with quickness and has a compact arm swing, pitching from a 3/4 arm angle. Forniss shows aptitude to spin a sharp, sweeping slider at 71-72 mph along with a late-breaking cutter in the low-80s. 

Nolan Decker, LHP, Noblesville HS

Decker is a high-pitchability southpaw that shows pristine command for a three-pitch mix. A 6-foot, 190 pounder - Decker has a balanced, repeatable delivery with clean and easy arm action. Decker will sit 82-84 mph on his fastball, but the fastball velocity plays up due to his ability to pitch backwards. The Noblesville product can flip over a 71-73 mph curveball at will and shows the ability to induce soft contact to RHH's with his 74-76 mph changeup. Decker posted a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 68:12 in 53 IP this spring.

Jake Mulvehill, LHP, South Bend John Adams HS

Mulvehill has established a reputation as one of the top southpaws in the South Bend area over the past two seasons. The 6-foot, 190 pounder fills the zone with a three-pitch mix and has run his fastball up to 86 mph. The athletic southpaw has a big, 67-70 mph curveball that he can command the zone with, along with a 76-78 mph changeup. 

Brenden Smith, LHP, Lake Central HS

A sturdy, 6-foot-1, 215 pounder - Smith attacks hitters from an over-the-top arm slot that produces downhill angle on his 84-87 mph fastball with some run. His best off-speed offering is his sinking, 75-76 mph changeup and he also flashes feel for a developing, low-70s breaking ball. The Lake Central product shows some athleticism moving down the slope with above-average arm speed. 

Jameson Prendergast, LHP, Roncalli HS

An athletic southpaw with some strength standing at 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds. Prendergast shows some arm speed from a H 3/4 arm angle that produces a fastball up to 84 mph with more velo left in the tank. The fastball plays best down in the zone and his sweeping, 74-77 mph slider plays well off the fastball. Prendergast flashes a mid-70s changeup with fade and is coming off a big junior season for Roncalli HS.

Tyson Greenwood, LHP, New Prairie HS

A frame to dream on with a premier frame, standing at 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds with still room to fill out. Greenwood pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a crossfire delivery that creates deception. Greenwood has showed the ability to command a running, 80-84 T 85 mph fastball across multiple looks this spring. His slider shows some sweeping action at 74-77 mph and he will flash a mid-70s changeup to RHHs. Greenwood is a left-handed arm to follow that has the frame to tick up in velocity as he continues to mature.

Matthew Habas, LHP, Andrean HS

Habas has stepped into a big role for Andrean this spring and is another high-pitchability southpaw on this list. The 6-foot, 200 pounder has a slow-tempo, repeatable delivery and possesses long arm action that comes out from a H 3/4 slot. Habas has shown the ability to command his fastball, up to 85 mph, to his glove side throughout multiple looks this spring and his fastball pairs well with am 11/5 shaped curveball at 67-70 mph. 

Sam Foulke, LHP, Carmel HS

An athletic, 6-foot-1, 185 pound southpaw - Foulke pitches from a 3/4 slot with moderate arm action that accelerates to his release point. Foulke will sit 81-83 T 84 mph on his fastball that shows ride & run from his lower slot. His slider will flash sharp action at 71-74 mph and pairs well with the fastball as he can run the fastball to his arm side and tunnel a slider to the glove side off the fastball. 

Theo Nagy, LHP, Carmel HS

Another southpaw with a frame to dream on - Nagy stands at 6-foot-4, 205 pounds with a long-levered frame. The Carmel product pitches from an over-the-top arm slot that produces downhill angle on a fastball up to 85 mph that also shows some run to his arm side. His best off-speed pitch is his sinking changeup that he throws at 71-74 mph. For Nagy, development of his breaking ball will pay dividends, however the frame suggests that there is still plenty of development to be had in his overall game.  

Aidan Pearson, LHP, South Bend John Adams HS

A 6-foot, 180 pound southpaw that can really command the baseball, Pearson is coming off a big spring for John Adams HS and continues to improve his fastball velocity, touching 84 mph this spring. Pearson has tons of feel for an 11/5, 68-72 mph curveball with depth that he can flip over on command. His changeup is an above-average pitch with some fade at 75-76 mph and his ability to pitch backwards allows his fastball velocity to play up.
