Caden Addis LHP / 1B / Prairie Central, IL / 2024ILLINOIS WESLEYAN COMMIT From 7/19/23 |
Chase Alwardt 1B / OF / Edwardsville, IL / 2024UNIVERSITY OF INDIANAPOLIS COMMIT From 10/4/23: “Big, strong build at 6-foot-3, 200-pounds. Hit in the middle of Extreme Elite’s lineup across our looks. A left-handed hitter, showed a quick bat with power. Stays short to the ball, long through the zone; was a tough out for pitchers throughout the weekend, stayed on the barrel, producing multiple hits both days. Showed some speed on the base paths with multiple extra base hits.” |
Bryk Barnard C / 1B / Hersey, IL / 2024
Rankings StateRank: 103 / POS: 9
UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA COMMIT From 9/23/23: “Currently ranked No. 102 in the class, Barnard especially impressed in his showing on Sunday, both behind the dish and at the plate. Defensively, Barnard looked very comfortable handling all of the duties of playing behind the dish and executed them at a high level. Barnard blocked up baseballs all game for his pitchers and was a clear vocal leader for the team, getting the entire defense back on track when needed. Barnard also collected two hits in the game from the left side of the dish, including a double.” |
Talan Benbrook / N/A, IL / 2024FONTBONNE UNIVERSITY COMMIT |
Kamrin Borck C / RHP / McHenry, IL / 2024MILWAUKEE SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING COMMIT |
Kaeden Bowles SS / 2B / Cuba, IL / 2024LINCOLN LAND CC COMMIT From 2/24/21: “...is an upside 2024 who, at just 5-foot-10, 135-pounds showed the makings of a well above average defender on the infield. He showed signs of glove confidence and bounce on the infield that will likely grow with maturity. The same holds true with his left-handed swing. Bowles hits with fluid rhythm, athletic hands, stays level through the zone and consistently drove line-drives back up the middle of the diamond. Follow 2024 infielder as he continues to mature and add strength to his lean frame.” |
Brody Clark LHP / Bradley Bourbonnais, IL / 2024MILLIKIN UNIVERSITY COMMIT From 10/1/23: |
Tyler Cribbett 2B / SS / Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, IL / 2024MILLIKIN UNIVERSITY COMMIT From 6/25/23: “Cribbett impressed on Saturday morning going 4-for-4 including a home-run straight into the wind. Strong build, with a simple swing and a fluid bat path. Showed off advanced bat-to-ball skills, taking pitches the other way and finding the barrel a number of times throughout the weekend. Also showed some quality power, shooting a number of balls into the gap for extra base hits.” |
Ethan Cusack OF / OF / Maine West, IL / 2024WISCONSIN-RIVER FALLS COMMIT From 2/13/22 |
Alex Dvorak RHP / Nazareth Academy , IL / 2024MILWAUKEE AREA TECHNICAL JC COMMIT From 2/21/22: |
Braden Engel OF / LHP / Stillman Valley, IL / 2024WHEATON COLLEGE COMMIT From 6/25/23: “6-foot-1, 175-pound frame with room to grow. Athletic build that capped off the weekend with a five RBI performance with a couple extra base hits, including a homerun. An upright stance with a slight bend in the knees, consistently got a piece of every zone including barreling plenty of balls in the bottom of the zone.” |
Andrew Good RHP / St Charles North, IL / 2024LEWIS UNIVERSITY COMMIT From 5/6/23: “6-foot-2, 180-pound, strong, athletically-built, right-handed pitcher. Got the start on the mound and intrigued in his four innings of work where he struck out seven. Controlled, repeatable delivery, clean arm plays out of a high ¾ slot with seemingly much more in the tank. Works with ease and pace down the mound and flashed a three-pitch repertoire. Fastball plays clean out of the hand, around the zone at 84-85 mph. Held the velocity throughout his four innings. Also went to a 70-72 curveball that worked off an 11/5 plane with occasional depth and bite. Had one changeup at 79 mph, sells the pitch. Uncommitted junior arm with polish to his stuff and should see his velocity continue to tick up moving forward.” |

Kenny Nanos RHP / OF / Mundelein, IL / 2024
Rankings StateRank: 194 / POS: 60
VALPARAISO COMMIT From 6/5/23: “6-foot, 160-pound athletic frame impressed on the bump in this look. Nanos moved well on the mound with a whippy ¾ arm slot. His fastball had arm-side run and sat 81-83 mph, topping out at 84.4 mph. Nanos’ curveball showed big break and sharpness with 10/4 shape. His changeup was thrown with intent and showed depth. Nanos completed his repertoire with a cutter that plays true and showed out-pitch potential.” |
Thomas Offill 2B / SS / Bradley Bourbonnais, IL / 2024KANKAKEE CC COMMIT From 7/21/23: “5-foot-7, 140-pound, athletic frame. Offill picked up three hits Friday afternoon while showing off impressive speed. Offill has a wide stance with bent upper half that allows him to make quality contact and get to the ball in any part of the zone. Offill showcased impressive bat-to-ball abilities as well as advanced speed that allowed him to pick up a stolen base.” |
Kade Patton RHP / 2B / Marshall , IL / 2024PARKLAND COLLEGE COMMIT From 2/20/23 Delivery: Delivery works across body, deceptive lines, finishes first base side. |
Collin Severson OF / Sycamore , IL / 2024
Rankings StateRank: 204 / POS: 40
CORNELL COLLEGE COMMIT From 9/26/23: “OF Collin Severson (Sycamore, 2024) is a wiry 5-foot-10, 165-pound athlete with quick twitch that showed in multiple ways in this workout. Severson ran the day’s second fastest 60 (6.78), reaching a peak speed of 20.5 mph with a 1.66 10-yard split. He showed an accurate barrel in BP, staying on it throughout his round while spraying line drives to all fields from a short, direct, and balanced right-handed swing. Severson’s speed plays naturally in the outfield - he’s a fast mover with athletic, tempo’d feet that work around the baseball, and he made a spectacular diving grab in left field during the gameplay portion of the event.” |
Lewis Slade LHP / 1B / Lake Park, IL / 2024
Rankings StateRank: 238 / POS: 24
SOUTHWESTERN ILLINOIS JC COMMIT From 6/23/23: “At 6-foot, 185-pounds, Slade was effective in his outing Friday against Top Tier South. The southpaw sat 79-82 mph on his fastball, maintaining velocity throughout with a ¾ arm slot and a balanced delivery. Also threw a sweeping breaking ball at 68-69 mph for strikes.” |
Kevari Thunderbird LHP / Kenwood, IL / 2024
Rankings StateRank: 64 / POS: 8
JOHN A. LOGAN JC COMMIT From 9/23/23: “LHP Kevari Thunderbird (Kenwood, 2024; Eastern Kentucky commit) looked to have one of the better breaking balls in attendance on the whole weekend. The southpaw ripped off a low-70s sweeper with sharp lateral action, thrown both for strikes and to put hitters away. Tunnels especially well off fastballs that start up and out of the zone. His fastball cruised in the 85-87 mph range with heavy arm-side run at times. Loose and projectable, should continue to add on velocity as he fills out.” |
Caleb Williams 3B / RHP / South Elgin, IL / 2024ELGIN CC COMMIT From 10/20/23: “RHP Caleb Williams (South Elgin, 2024) gave a strong look in his outing on Saturday. Listed at 5-foot-10, 185-pounds. The right-hander uses his body well throughout his delivery, loading into his back hip before firing down the mound with a drop/drive lower-half. Hides the ball well throughout his arm circle before releasing from a high ¾ slot. Williams’ fastball played in the 80-82 mph range with some life through the zone, working it to both sides of the plate. To pair off the fastball he went to a 10/4 slider at 69-71 mph, collecting some swing and miss.” |
Jason Wolter C / RHP / Huntley, IL / 2024OTTAWA UNIVERSITY COMMIT From 7/11/23 |
Jeremy Wrona OF / LHP / Metea Valley, IL / 2024COLLEGE OF SAN MATEO COMMIT |
Owen Ziaja 2B / C / Jacobs , IL / 2024NORTH CENTRAL COLLEGE COMMIT From 2/11/23 |
2025s
Carson Stevens C / 1B / Neuqua Valley, IL / 2025
Rankings StateRank: 173 / POS: 24
WABASH VALLEY JC COMMIT From 8/8/23: “C/1B Carson Stevens (Neuqua Valley, 2025) impressed our staff with loud contact during his round of BP at the Northwest Suburban Open, earning an invite to this event as a result. Stevens generated loud contact consistently throughout his round, blasting his furthest ball 101.4 mph, and sending multiple out of the park, too. Behind the plate, his best pop was 2.01 with his hardest bullet being recorded at 74 mph. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound strong-framed catcher is sure to draw eyes with his strength and noticeable power.” |
Gavin Triezenberg SS / 3B / Brother Rice , IL / 2025
Rankings StateRank: 34 / POS: 4
UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA COMMIT From 7/26/23: “MIF Gavin Triezenberg (Brother Rice, 2025) is another smooth middle infielder who continued to do what we have become accustomed to seeing defensively. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound, broad-shouldered right-handed hitter took one of the easier, polished rounds of defense on the day. Triezenberg never gets sped up and played with all kinds of body control and ease while showcasing confident, soft hands and the ability to throw accurately from multiple platforms while topping at 84 mph across. Triezenberg has also cut down his 60-time considerably over the last few years, now running a 7.05 while working to both gaps in BP, registering a 93.4 mph max exit velocity and a furthest batted ball of 347’.” |
