The Prep Baseball Report Unsigned Senior Showcase - St. Louis, a new event to the fall showcase circuit, will take place on Sunday, October 1st. The event, which is open to all unsigned 2018s in Illinois, Missouri and Kansas is being held at CarShield Field, the home of the River City Rascals in O’Fallon, MO.

When looking at the current roster, Illinois’ 6-foot-8, 255-pound RHP Jase Wallingford (Quincy Notre Dame) stands out. Wallingford last attended an event over a year ago and topped out at 84 mph. Reports have had his fastball climbing into the upper 80’s as of late, making him one of the more intriguing prospects that will be in attendance.  

Taking a glance at Missouri, catcher AJ Spinello (Rockhurst) is one to keep an eye out for come Sunday. Spinello showed well at the St. Louis Top Prospect Games this summer and was ranked as one of the top overall prospects from the day.
