Today we catch up with Easton Haase, MIF/3B, Herscher HS, Class of 2015.
“Haase is a 5-foot-7, 135-pound middle infielder who displayed soft hands and good range at shortstop. He also had an accurate arm, which was clocked at 63 mph. At the plate, Haase has a level bat path as he sprayed line drives to right field”

PBR: Have you ever attended a Prep Baseball Report event? If so what were your impressions of the event?
Haase: Yes! I liked it. The best part is that anyone can see a video of me hitting and fielding by just going to the website. Also, I was able to see how I compared to other players within the state. I will definitely attend another Prep Baseball Report event.
PBR: What is your biggest strength as a player?
Haase: Great contact hitter and soft hands in the infield.
PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what are you most excited about this summer?
Haase: I will be playing for the Prowlers Team Easton. I am excited to play in the tournaments this summer. I will be playing at Lenz Field & Sports Complex in Jacksonville IL, Valparaiso University, Wright State University, Eastern Illinois, and University of Illinois.
PBR: What are your goals both individually and for your summer team for the rest of spring and summer?
Haase: My individual goals are to continue to improve as an overall baseball player and to play at the college level. My summer team goals are to hopefully get into the championship game in all of our tournaments.
PBR: What is your most memorable moment in baseball so far in your life?
Haase: Hitting for the cycle.
PBR: What are your stats so far in the High School season?
Haase: .500 Batting Average 14-28, .666 on base percentage 28-42, 14 walks.
PBR: Who is the toughest hitter/pitcher that you have faced?
Haase: Toughest pitcher was Brian Nickels
