RHP Brady Corrigan (Plainfield North HS, IL), a standout at the Future Games and the No. 2 prospect in Illinois’ 2017 class has verbally committed to Arizona State. Athletically built with a prototypical pitcher’s frame at 6-foot-3, 180 pounds, Corrigan looks to be the total package on the mound. He featured arguably the best breaking ball at the Future Games, a hammer at 77-79 mph with swing-and-miss action. On top of his breaking and athleticism, he sits 88-90 and pitches with confidence. He operates from a high-3/4 arm slot, repeats his delivery and pounds the zone with all of his pitches. He also shows feel for a changeup with fading action at 82.
