Lots of Illinois recruiting news over the last week. A recap of who’s going where:
Tyler Feece, a LHP from Vernon Hills HS, has committed to Illinois State. As a junior, Feece earned PBR third-team All-State honors after going 12-2 with a 0.77 ERA. In 54.2 innings, he notched 79 strikeouts.
Zack Wade, a catcher from Deerfield HS, has committed to DePauw.
Illinois Central College landed a pair of ranked prospects when it received commitments from Bolingbrook 6-foot-3, 245-pound RHP Bradley Elmore and Illinois Valley Central RHP Samuel Reuter. Elmore shined at the PBR Preseason All-State Showcase last February, highlighted by a heavy mid-80s fastball.
Kurtis Brown, a power-hitting left-handed hitting 1B from Champaign Central HS, has committed to Bellarmine University.
Jordan Sheinkop, a RHP from Stevenson HS, has committed to George Washington University.
Joe Pizzolato, a middle infielder from Lake Zurich HS, has committed to the College of San Mateo, a junior college in California.
