2/14/16 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound outfielder, average build. Defensively arm played long from the outfield, over the top slot, arm carries, 82 mph arm strength. Plays through the baseball, clean exchange, quick footwork. 6.85 runner in the 60. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, slightly open setup, short stride that slightly dives. Opposite field contact, flat bat path, average bat speed. 84 mph exit velocity from the tee.

2.21.16 - 6-foot-2, 190-pound, durable build, well-proportioned right-handed hitter. On the mound, smooth rhythm, long loose arm action, high ¾ slot and regular effort; stays in-line, square landing. Fastball, thrown for strikes, flashes slight arm-side-arm and ranged between 77-81 mph. Curveball works between 12/6, 11/5, with some depth and clocked at 65-70 mph. Changeup, strikes, thrown near fastball arm speed, some sink and fade, 69-72 mph.

6/11/15 - 6-foot, 145-pound, right-handed hitting SS/RHP. In the field has a short arm action from a high ¾ arm slot. Average arm strength with average hands and slower actions. Threw 71 mph across the infield. At the plate hits from a balanced setup with a smooth load and short stride. Average bat speed with a short swing path. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a short arm action. Tall and fall delivery with cross fire action. Level shoulders with some rhythm. Fastball flashed occasional sink at 74-76 topping out at 77 mph. Curveball showed 11-5 shape with gradual action at 59-60 mph. Changeup flashed cutting action at 63-66 mph.

5.26.16 - Junior uncommitted left-handed pitcher, 6-foot, 190-pound average frame solid lower half. Delivery tends to work across his body. Arm action is short, high ¾ slot, separation and timing can improve. Fastball showed good life going to his glove side, sat 80-84 mph, topped out at 85 mph. Softer curveball played with a wide range, 63-71 mph, slurve type sweeper, showed feel. Flashed a changeup at 74 mph.
Tylon Ross, RHP, Homewood-Flossmoor, 2018
Purdue
11.6.16 - 6-foot-1, 165-pound, athletically built, right-handed pitcher. One of the top arms in the Illinois' 2018 class. Controlled, repeatable delivery with rhythm. Long, quick arm out of a high 3/4 slot. Fastball, heavy action, life through the zone, thrown for strikes and sat 86-89 mph. Slider, feel, tight spin, short break, 10/4 shape, sat 74-75 mph. Changeup, firm, down in the zone, erratic at times, 81-82 mph.
