No. 3 ranked St. Rita outfielder Shane Peisker’s power surge has earned him this week’s Porsche Exchange Player of the Week honor for May 4-May 11. The Navy commit launched three home runs over four games, going 5-for-12 at the dish with seven runs scored and ten RBI.

Peisker’s heroics in Saturday’s Mustang victory over No. 11 Brother Rice lead St. Rita in a come from behind 7-6 victory. The senior left-handed hitting outfielder launched a three-run homer in the first, and then tied the game with a shot to right to lead off the bottom of the seventh. St. Rita later scored the go-ahead run after trailing for much of the game.

On the year, the Mustang’s three-hole hitter is hitting a robust .365 with four homers, six doubles, three triples, 24 RBI, and 34 runs scored. He’s also walked 17 times, good for a .495 OBP.

For his efforts, Peisker has been named the Porsche Exchange Player of the Week for the week of May 4-May 11.
